ORLANDO, Fla. (Ivanhoe Newswire) — According to research, a plant is a must in your home or office since it provides cleaner air, lowers your risk for illness, boosts your mood and enhances concentration and memory. These plants are the easiest to take care of in order to receive all of these benefits.

Eighty to 90 percent of your time is spent indoors, so a plant is an important feature to have since they can deliver a lot of health benefits. But, it is no secret that some of them are easier to take care of than others.

If you’re a forgetful person, the best plants for you are Aloe, Crown of Thorns, or a plant called Mother-in-Law’s Tongue. All of these can spend from two weeks up to a month without water. You can ignore them without feeling guilty, and since they come in different sizes, they make a great decor for your bedside table or desk.

Other good options are the ZZ plant or Cast Iron plant, also known as the indestructible plants. These can survive drought, low light, poor quality soil and a wide range of temperatures. They are the perfect option if you have a small space that doesn’t get sunlight very often.

Lastly, if you want a plant that is aesthetically pleasing, but can also filter toxins from the air, then try a Peace Lily. They can grow between one and six feet tall so check the estimated height before you buy.

Spider plants are also a great feature to add to your house since the fast-growing shoots produce little sprouts you can easily repot. But make sure they are in a room with good lighting and they are watered weekly.
