Cell Reception: More is Always Better!

ORLANDO, Fla. (Ivanhoe Newswire) — The mobile phone network company RootMetrics collected six-point-one-million samples across the US, comparing the top network carriers. In the category of reliability, Verizon came in first, followed by AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile. But customers of all companies want better cellphone reception.

To boost your cell phone reception, keep a full battery. Connecting to a cell tower takes a constant supply of power, so if your phone is not charged, it might not have enough juice to find a signal. To help keep a full battery, turn off Bluetooth when not in use, lower screen brightness and close unused apps. Next, your phone and cell towers play an elaborate game of tag with each other. So when making a call be sure to move near a window and avoid standing under tall structures. Also, try using Wi-Fi calling. If you already have landline internet, connecting to your Wi-Fi should help boost reception service. Finally, you can purchase a cell phone booster. These devices take existing cellular signal and boost it up to thirty two times.  You can buy these handy devices for your home and car from anywhere between 30 to 500 dollars. With tips so you never have to ask “can you hear me now?” again.

You can also consider changing network carriers. If you live near an AT&T tower, you would get better quality with them compared to a different carrier. Go to https://opensignal.com/ to see which networks are the best for your zip code.
