Chef's Corner: Pastry Artist -- Smart Recipe

Dried Cranberry and Pecan Tart

1 pre-baked pie shell
1 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup melted butter
2 1/2 cups dried cranberries
2 1/2 cups chopped pecans (or walnuts)
3 Eggs

Directions: Combine eggs, melted butter and sugar. Mix well. Add cranberries and nuts. Mix well together and pour into the piecrust. Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 25 to 30 minutes, until golden brown. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
